It was a haute night in Fort Worth for the debut of DFW Haute Events by Haute Holland, an expert guide of all the hottest spots in the metroplex.
“DFW is rich with events as diverse and fun as the people who live here,” said the night’s haute host, Holland Sanders.
Sanders, a fashion and lifestyle guru behind the blog Haute Holland, showcased both at last Thursday’s event by getting the right group of people in a glamorous location.
A Haute Night in Fort Worth
The event took place at La Perla Negra, one of Fort Worth’s newest downtown hot spots.
La Perla Negra, brought to you by restaurant veterans Ramiro Ramirez of Salsa Limon, Andrew De La Torre formerly of Embargo, and Imran Khan of The Lunch Box and Black Rooster Bakery, says its a bar “first and foremost.” The drink menu includes several hand-crafted cocktails and local craft brews.
Guests at the Haute Holland calendar release party also got to sample from a delicious tasting menu featuring the spot’s best dishes.
To accompany all the great food, drinks, and conversation, Sanders hand-picked DJ Ronnie Heart, who she calls “one of the radest DJs in the city.”
Events for DFW’s Most Fabulous
The guest list was impressive, including some of the brightest minds and event goers from around the area.
But they were all connected for the same reason – to experience all of the great things their city has to offer.
“I’ve always loved experiencing new things and inviting my friends to do the same,” Sanders exclaimed. “With my Allcal calendar I can take that passion a step further by curating a calendar of the places and experiences I want to share with everyone!”
Sanders will continue to host and share great events like these on her blog and through her Allcal Public Calendar. Fans can follow her adventures and get recommendations by downloading Allcal and adding the DFW Haute Events by Holland calendar on their iPhone or Android smartphones.
Up Next for Haute Holland…
Sanders continues her mission to find all the best culture, style, and arts events Dallas-Fort Worth has to offer with Art in the Dark at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth.
Guests will get an exclusive look at American Epics: Thomas Hart Benton and Hollywood – the museum’s newest exhibition opening February 6.

About La Perla Negra
Three veteran Fort Worth restaurateurs have combined their experience and creativity to open La Perla Negra in Downtown’s Flatiron District. The bar and restaurant is the shared vision of Ramiro Ramirez of Salsa Limon, Andrew De La Torre formerly of Embargo, and Imran Khan of The Lunch Box and Black Rooster Bakery.
La Perla Negra is a bar first and foremost, serving straightforward, unpretentious hand-crafted cocktails using freshly–squeezed juices and small batch mezcals and agave. The bar also offers a wide selection of international and local craft brews, and a boutique, approachable wine list curated by Chester Cox of Kent & Co. Wines.
La Perla Negra is conveniently located in Downtown’s Flatiron District in the space formerly occupied by Zambrano’s Wine Cellar & Bistro. It seats 40 inside and 15 to 20 on its street side patio.
